課程概述 |
跨越文字記載的人類歷史，唯有仰賴考古學的研究，為人類解碼與陳述這些人類長遠的過往。因此，考古學如何解碼?為人類爬梳理解的是一個何樣的人類與其文化的發展歷程?這些被述說出來的人類故事，其間有何問題尚待解決?有何會對當代人群社會帶來影響或需深思的?這些面向與議題是此課要引介與討論的。 |

課程目標 |
簡介世界史前史、以及考古學與史前史學者如何探討人類文化發展的過程以及其間相關的一些問題，其中主題涵蓋人為器物與文化的出現、其與人科的演化間的關係、文化發展與其累進的過程、各階段的特性與對人群所帶來的影響與效應。 |

課程要求 |
期中參考書目閱讀與課堂口頭報告(20%)、課堂討論(10%)、期中考 (30%)，期末報告(40%)，課堂上課狀態與出缺席不在上述配分計算內而以校方規範處理。 |
